How many players can play on a dedicated Palworld server?

The dedicated Palworld server accepts up to 32 simultaneous players, far more than the cooperative mode limited to 4 players. A full 32-player server needs around 32 GB of memory, though, which we do not offer: our plans go up to 24 players with 24 GB, and the 16 GB plan, the amount Pocketpair recommends, hosts up to 16 players.

Can I modify my Palworld server settings?

Yes, the PalWorldSettings.ini file lets you adjust many settings: Pal spawn rates, damage, capture speed, XP gain, structure damage, and much more.

Why does Palworld require so much RAM?

Palworld simulates an open world with many Pals, bases and players, which is memory-demanding. Pocketpair recommends 16 GB for a dedicated server: that is our recommended plan, for up to 16 players. The server does boot with 8 GB, but the publisher warns it may then run out of memory, so our 8 GB plan is meant for small groups (up to 4 players) with a restart every 6 hours or so. Plan for 12 GB for up to 10 players and 24 GB for up to 24 players. Every plan shows how many players it is built for.

Is my Palworld world saved?

Yes, the server saves your world regularly. To keep copies on the side, use the backup slots included in your plan: run them from the panel or schedule them, especially before a major game update.
