Can I create a cluster with multiple ARK maps?
Yes, Gamost lets you link multiple servers in a cluster to enable Cross-Travel: your players transfer characters, items and dinosaurs from one map to another. Each map is a separate server sharing the same cluster ID.
How do I install Steam Workshop mods on ARK?
You enter the Workshop mod IDs in the server configuration; they are then downloaded and loaded automatically. The order of the mods in the list matters to avoid conflicts.
Why does ARK require so much RAM?
ARK simulates a large number of creatures, structures and players simultaneously, which is very demanding. Plan for at least 8 GB, and 16 GB or more for a populated or modded server.
Can I modify the harvesting and taming rates?
Absolutely. The Game.ini and GameUserSettings.ini files let you adjust harvesting, XP and taming multipliers and much more, directly from the panel or via FTP.
